The 13th China International Bakery Exhibition (BAKING CHINA)

The 13th China International Bakery Exhibition (BAKING CHINA) was held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing from April 12 to 14, 2017. The event, which is the largest and most influential baking exhibition in China, attracted more than 80,000 visitors from over 60 countries, who came to explore the latest innovations and trends in the bakery and confectionery industry.


BAKING CHINA 2017 covered an exhibition area of over 80,000 square meters, featuring more than 1,200 exhibitors from all segments of the baking supply chain, such as ingredients, equipment, technology, packaging, and services. The exhibitors showcased a wide range of products and solutions, such as baking raw materials, additives, fillings, molds, ovens, refrigeration, display, and decoration.


BAKING CHINA 2017 also offered a rich and diverse educational program, with more than 20 concurrent activities, such as forums, competitions, workshops, and demonstrations. The activities covered topics such as baking technology, management, marketing, innovation, and sustainability. The participants were able to learn from the experts, exchange ideas, and discover new opportunities for growth and development.


One of the highlights of BAKING CHINA 2017 was the China Mooncake Customization Exhibition, which showcased the latest trends and designs of mooncakes, a traditional Chinese pastry that is popular during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The exhibition featured more than 100 exhibitors, who offered customized mooncakes for different occasions, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events.


BAKING CHINA 2017 was organized by the China Association of Bakery and Confectionery Industry (CABCI) and Jingmao International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and supported by several associations, such as the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), the China Food Industry Association (CFIA), and the China Bakery and Confectionery Trade Association (CBCTA). The event was a non-profit endeavor, with the aim of promoting the advancement and prosperity of the bakery and confectionery industry in China and beyond.
